I intentionally work with a small number of people at any one time. This enables me to provide highly personalised therapy with detailed planning, thought and consideration to each individual client or couple. I invest heavily in continuous, quality education and development to ensure that the work that I do is to the very highest standard. My fee is a reflection of this, as well as covering all the usual costs associated with running a practice.
Reduced Fee Programme
I am committed to making counselling accessible to as many people as possible and have some concessionary places for people who are unable to afford the full fee. Clients paying the full fee enable me to offer a reduced fee programme. Please get in touch to discuss availability.
Cancellation or Rescheduling
You can rearrange or cancel appointments up to 24 hours without incurring any fee before the appointment time.
If you are unable to give 24 hours’ notice or you miss the session without giving notice, the full fee will be payable.
I will always try to offer another appointment if you have to cancel at short notice, but if we are unable to find another mutually convenient time before Friday of the same week, the full fee will be due.
Where we can meet
In person
I am situated just outside Chorley, within easy reach of the M6, M61 and M65 motorways. A short distance from Chorley, Leyland, Wigan, Bolton, Preston, Manchester and surrounding areas. There’s free parking on site. Public transport including bus and railway links are close by too.
Online
I offer online sessions via Zoom, which is secure, effective and convenient for clients. It means that I can work with clients who may not be located in the same country or area but also who may have busy work schedules.
The next step
I invite you to arrange an introductory call (either by phone or by zoom). When you get in touch, either my assistant or I will be in touch to arrange a time for us to meet.
Typically an introductory call lasts around 20 minutes, I will ask you about what has brought you to search for a therapist, what’s been happening for you recently and for a little background. It’s really an opportunity for us to get to know each other, for you can ask any questions you might have and for us to see if the way that I work is a good fit for you.
There is no obligation start therapy with me but if we do both feel that we would work well together and our diaries match up, we can arrange our first session together.
