Who do you work with?
I work with adults and couples / those in a relationship (which includes siblings, parent and child, married couples, civil partnerships and same sex relationships).
Where are you located?
I am located within easy reach of Chorley, Leyland, Preston, Wigan, Bolton, Blackburn, Burnley, Horwich and surroundings areas. Easily accessible from M65, M6 and M61 as well as public transport.
My rooms are fully accessible, on the ground floor of the Reception Building, East Terrace, Off Euxton Lane, Chorley, PR7 6TE
If we meet online, do I need to download any software?
Before setting up our first session together we will agree how we will meet, either by phone or via webcam. I use vSee or Zoom which are safe, encrypted platforms. I will email you a link for you to join me online. You won’t need to download anything.
When are you available?
I am able to offer appointments Monday – Friday 9.30am – 9pm and Saturday 9am – 12 noon.
Is it confidential?
Yes. I take confidentiality very seriously. We will talk about this at our first session together.
If we are meeting online, you need to be able to be somewhere where you won’t be overheard or overlooked.
How much does it cost?
£45 per session for individuals (face to face or online)
£60 per session for couples / those in a relationship (face to face or online)
This is payable by bank transfer in advance or by debit or credit card on the day.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies enormously. We will talk about your needs and circumstances at our first session, as well as what you hope to achieve through coming to counselling. I offer short term therapy (usually 8 – 12 sessions) and long-term therapy.
How long is each session?
Each session lasts for 60 minutes.
